Floating Ball Valves
Ladish Valves designs and manufactures a variety of floating ball valves. Floating ball valves are quarter-turn ball valves common in industrial piping systems. Instead of being supported by a trunnion, the ball “floats” between two seats, being held in place by line pressure. Floating ball valves are cost-effective, versatile, and able to provide bi-directional sealing.

Overview
Ladish stocks floating ball valves in an array of materials, including carbon steel and exotic alloys. These valves have pressure classes ranging from 150 to 600 WOG, or 1500 to 2000 WOG for three-piece valves. Our manufacturing facility enables inventory storage, machining, product assembly, testing, and material conformance control. Thanks to our in-house non-destructive examination (NDE) capabilities and a fully integrated machine shop, Ladish can deliver floating ball valves quickly while meeting all customer and quality control requirements.

Applications
Floating Ball Valves Engineered for Every Need

Severe Service
Severe Service
Manufactured from nickel-based alloys, chrome, and exotic materials, severe service floating ball valves are ideal for manual, automated on-off, and highly cycled processes.

Critical Service
Critical Service
Ladish manufactures critical service ball valves in compliance with the Chlorine Institute Pamphlet 6.

Flanged End
Flanged End
Flanged end floating ball valves are used in piping systems, controlling fluid flow. These valves connect to pipelines via flanges that are bolted to mating flanges on the pipe.

Threaded & Socketweld End

Metal & Graphite Seated
Metal & Graphite Seated
Also known as MEGA SEAL, Ladish designs these valves for safety, low emissions, long service life, and ease of maintenance. Metal and graphite seated valves are available in split-body full and reduced port styles, as well as one-piece (uni-body) reduced port construction.

Power Service
Power Service
The Ladish T-Series power ball valve is a two-piece ball valve that incorporates all the aspects of Ladish metal-seated quarter-turn sealing technology while still being suitable for high-quantity production that can reduce prices and lead times.

Bar Stock
Bar Stock
Ladish has an extensive inventory of nickel alloy bars that we can machine for quick deliveries or for customers that require forged bar stock valves.

Instrument Isolation
Instrument Isolation
The Ladish Instrument Isolation valve line is perfect for use with instrument hardware and connection systems, reducing measurement errors and corrosive effects of tubing pipe away runs.
